When my oldest starts big kid school in the fall, I’ll be returning to teaching with her.

The transition is bitter sweet, as I’ll be leaving my baby during the day, but  I’m excited to get back in the trenches.

The days are gradually getting longer, and the air is slowly getting warmer.

Spring will be here soon and I CAN NOT WAIT!!

The novelty of winter wears off for me after Christmas and the 1st snow.  Actually, I wouldn’t mind if we skipped winter entirely around here.  I’d gladly just plan a vacation to visit the snow.

Give me blooming flowers, green grass and sunny days any day, all day!

And since I can hardly contain my excitement, I’ve already getting started on some spring crafts! I’ve also found a ton of free Spring SVGs to that I’ve rounded up here today.

Bunnies, bright spring colors, Cadbury Eggs… I mean what’s not to love about Easter?

To me, Easter represents the light at the end of that long, dark, cold winter.  Everything after Christmas seems a little less to me.  Until Easter is on the horizon!  Then suddenly a glimmer of hope and warmer weather appears!

So to brighten these last few week’s of winter, I’ve been creating Easter and Spring crafts left and right.  I’ve got a ton of my own to share, but I’ve also been scouting other tutorials I’d like to try and have added them so you’ll have even more Easter crafts to bring light into your life!

I’ve officially caught spring fever, and can’t stop crafting.  This year I’ve been on a farmhouse decor kick and I wanted my Easter decorations to fit with that theme.

I knew I wanted to make a Rustic Easter sign,  and once I found the perfect paint color, I knew exactly how I wanted it to appear.  From there, this sweet piece of Easter decor was born!

It’s sweet and simple, and super easy to create!

This year I wanted to create a farmhouse style Easter set (pics to come!) and needed some budget friendly décor.  So I spent a week working on Easter projects and one of the results was this adorable DIY  Easter burlap banner.

It turned out so much cuter than I’d pictured and has already earned a spot in the house along with my other DIY Easter  decorations!

By now you’ve heard my spiel.  If you’ve been following my Ultimate List of Teacher Gift Ideas, you know I like to send sweet treats to my kids teachers and classmates at each holiday.

I just love the idea that they can be a sweet surprise for someone and maybe brighten their day.  I remember, as a teacher, I was so appreciative of those little gestures.

Of course Easter is no exception!  In fact Easter is one of my favorite holidays.  The winter months seem to drag by, and Springs brings Easter and the promise of new life and resurrection.
