DIY Coir Doormat

Of all the things I create, this is one of my favorites. I have made a ton of these diy coir doormats and they look amazing! There is also something so gratifying about seeing how they turn out. And, with a diy coir doormat – design possibilities are endless!  I’m tempted to make one for every season!

They are however, something it seems it may take a while to perfect. But, a little time and patience pay off in a big way.

3 Things Dads should know about Life after Baby

So here’s what you really want to know. How will having a baby change things? The truth is, it changes everything. Some of the changes you will barely notice. Some, like trips to the store with cranky kids, will slap you in the face every time.

You will never appreciate silence and solitude as much as you will while being a parent. But, as a parent, your whole life’s purpose has just changed. Forever.

Truths for New Dads about the first few days with Baby

The first few days with a new baby are like none other. All of a sudden, this tiny person has been thrust into your arms and sent home with you. Even if this is not your first child, your world is still turned upside down. Those first few days are the beginning of finding your new normal.

DIY Galvinized Tin Planter

Spring is here, and I am loooving the site of all the pretty flowers everywhere. This time of year, we spend a lot of time outside. One of my favorite things to do is sit on the front porch and watch my girls play on the lawn. I love to decorate my porch with pretty flowers, and this precious galvanized tin planter was a quick, fun way to do just that!
