Easter Basket Ideas for Tween Girls

Easter is around the corner and in an effort to gain some control over the chaos that currently reigns my life, I’ve decided to plan ahead.

My oldest girl is now a preteen.  I don’t know when it happened, but here we are.  Gone are the days of stuffing her Easter basket, with toys and candy (ok, maybe some candy).  She’s growing up fast and her tastes are changing even faster.

So to get the jump on Easter,  I started an Amazon list of ideas to pull from.  I’m sharing it here with you to help you hop to it and finish the bunny business early this year!  Check out my Easter Basket ideas for Tween Girls and hopefully you’ll find some inspo for your sweet girl!

Easter Basket Ideas for Tween Girls

  1. Skin Care Set

To my 10-year-old self, a facial was the mud that covered your skin after catching crawdads in the creek bed.  My daughter on the other hand, has a whole nightly skin care routine.

While mostly I roll my eyes at this, I also feel a smidge proud that she’s already practicing a little self care.  So adding a skin care set to her Easter basket seems like a good way to encourage her to continue this practice.

This simple skin care set includes a good balance of products that can help her cleanse and hydrate her soon to be hormonal skin.

If you give a tween girl skin care, they are going to want headbands.  It’s practically a Laura Numeroff book waiting to be written.

These fluffy headbands are a great way to keep products out of your hair.  All your girl has to do is pull your hair back with one of these adorable options and she’s ready to get her cleanse on!

This 6-pack of bath salts are made from natural ingredients and suitable for sensitive skin.  Plus they smell amazing!

4. Bath Bombs

This is another easy bath essential that’s sure to delight your tween. No more complaints about bath night when she’s scored this sweet set!

5. Journal

Help your sweet girl get out some of that pre-teen angst with an adorable journal.  She can write or doodle til her heart’s content, while also getting in a free therapy session!

This sparkly pink journal puts the fun in functional.  It has 160 lined pages that open flat making it easy to write on. The smaller size (about 8X5 inches) makes it easily transportable.  It also has an elastic strap to ensure it stays closed and keeps her secrets safe from prying eyes.

6.  Pretty Pens

Of course she’s going to need some pretty pens to write in her new journal.  The more colors the better!

These retractable ball point pins write super smoothly and dry quickly. Each pen features a soft, non-slip grip making those lengthy journaling sessions easy on her fingers.  This set also comes with 2 refills for when the ink runs dry.

9. New Bathing Suit

One of my favorite things to put in Easter Baskets is a fun reminder that warmer weather is coming!  I try to always add in some summer essentials like a cute new swim suit.

This cute swim set comes in sizes 8-14 and a variety of styles.  It’s sure to be a hit at the pool this summer!

10. Flip Flops

This one is another summer staple we can’t live without!  I almost always include a cute new pair of flip flops in Easter Baskets.

I’m really digging the pastel tye-dye on these flip flops. The cushioned leather strap means extra comfort to go along with all that style.  If you’re not feeling this design, there are several other options available.

11. Sunglasses

A new pair of shades is another Easter Basket essential.  Those longer days that arrive in spring bring extra sunshine and a good pair of sunnies is always welcome!

At just $11, these aviator sunglasses are easy on the eyes and the wallet. The polarized lens on these glasses provides style and UV protection!

12. Good Book

The teacher in me always has to throw books in the basket also.  My girls both love to read and are always excited to see new books.

This book has been on my oldest’s TBR list for awhile now.  It’s about a young girl who wakes up to discover her small town has mysteriously been abandoned.  The story follows her throughout her journey to survive against all odds.
