****Guess what?!  Letter of the Week lesson plans are getting an overhaul!  I’m going through and updating all plans, adding new free worksheets and making sure all links are up to date!  I’ve created a bunch of templates too for some of the crafts that’ll make your life a lot easier!  Hang tight!  It may take some time to get through all the letters, but it’s coming soon!!  If you’re seeing this message, this post has already been updated!***

Next up is the letter N.   My toddler’s favorite word starts with the letter N.  Any guesses?

Mommy’s favorite word bedtime, doesn’t start with n, but it comes at night!  Is there any tired like summer with small kids tired?

Crafts

N is for Newspaper was a super easy craft.  Just need some newspaper and glue!

I made a blank template that works for several of this week’s crafts.  You can grab it here.

Lesson N lesson plan The night sky is one of my favorite things.  I love staring at the stars on a warm night.  This sweet craft was one of my favorites.

You’ll just need my black N template and some star stickers.  We made the moon out of tin foil. Grab that free template here or by clicking below. We dyed a bunch of pasta for the necklace activity and used some of it in this craft.

We had lots of fun with this week’s activities.  The nature walk was a fun way to spend the afternoon.



Worksheets

In this Beginning Sounds sheet, you’ll need to isolate that intial sound and determine what starts with n.

The Color by Letter Type sheet is a great way to practice identifying upper and lowercase n. Grab the free sheet here. letter n lesson plan It can be hard to tell letters a part, espcially if they look similar. Letter Mazes are a great way to practice that skill.
